Living the life more abundantly – being transformed by Gods Word.

Jesus calls us to "seek first the Kingdom of heaven then all things shall be added unto you"

For me this has been a journey of discovery, firstly I wanted to learn
how to seek the Kingdom of God and what is the way of life we should be living in the Kingdom.

I have spent some time asking God to Show me his ways and the understanding, and over the course of the past few years he has led me back to the Commandments of God.

I spent a long time deliberating on the Commandments and I came to the conclusion that as we open ourselves up to them and have our reasoning touched by Gods Holy Spirit you discover that to live Gods way does indeed bring Peace with God – restored back to the Father – when we put Him first and learning to live His way also we live in harmony with man.

When you begin to acknowledge your lack of knowledge of God’s word and the power is the first step.

However, even before you can begin the journey, your life must already be being drawn back to God – as God says
"No man can come to the Father unless they come through Yeshua the Messiah, yet no one can come to Yeshua unless God is first drawing you to Himself. (This is not an academic exercise – it is a deep move within you and a desire to change).

We hear of lots of people going forward at meetings giving their lives to Jesus asking him into their lives – yet – where is the transformation?

Transformed lives are both in the mind, Spirit and lifestyle. If you consider that you will be saved – yet do not seek to change your lives to follow Gods teachings on how to be transformed and live life Gods way – how will you be blessed?

People consider that they are fine if they "call on the Lord to be saved" then that is IT. How Jesus clearly states "
Come let us reason together – though your sins are red as scarlet – He will wash them white as snow" . Firstly, you need to understand what SIN – you can only truly start to understand that when you look at the Commandments of God.

God says in Revelations 21 – verse 8 – These will not enter the kingdom of Heaven the cowardly, the untrustworthy, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those involved with the occult and drugs. Idol worshiping, and all liars – their destiny is the lake of burning with fire and sulphur – the second death. (Therefore it is best to repent and be transformed by the renewing of your minds, lifestyles and spirit if you do not want to end up in the lake of fire). Lives therefore need to be transformed by Gods Word – Yeshua/Jesus is the Word of God and by His name we can be born again and given a new life and a new opportunity to have a life worth living. Gods lifestyle. (Not religion but a way of life).

Consider your lifestyle – transformation cannot happen without repentance – repentance comes when you are fully aware of your Sin.

When you become aware of your sin and are convicted in the very heart of you the Spirit is moved to come before God in repentance.

Then things in your life will start to change.

Sitting on the fence believing you will be ok- just because you have called on the Lord – does not cut it with God. Remember Jesus said "I would that you either be hot or cold because if you are lukewarm God will Vomit you out. Sitting in churches on Sunday and listening to the ministers is all and good – however if you are not being taught to confess your sins and change your behaviour in accordance to Gods teaching what is the point of being there.

We are called to purify and sanctify our bodies as living sacrificed to God – as temples of the Holy Spirit – you cannot any longer carry on the same o same 0 without some transformation.

When you start to open your mind and Spirit to the prompting of the Holy Spirit, being the teacher and comforter, you will soon find you will begin a journey of discovery of - How did Yeshua/Jesus and the disciples live and How can I apply it to my own life.

You will discover that the Teachings of Christ taught are the same teaching of Moses and the Prophets – the Words of God – Remember Yeshua/Jesus is the Word of God made flesh to dwell amongst us to show us the way back to the Father – by obeying every Word that God spoke to the People. Not just some of it but all of His teachings and commandments and regulations and statutes – they are all important to be able live the Life God ordained us to live.

Every Word of God brought life into being, brought the sun and moon and all things created at HIS Word. Nothing has been left to chance – everything has a place and time in Gods Order. All that you see around you – we need to ask God daily for His Word – His mana from Heaven.

As we open God’s Holy Word remember every page has something incredible to discover.

Yeshua/Jesus made flesh to come and teach us how we can be reconciled back to the father in order to the Abundant Life.

The more I study the scriptures the more excited I get to know that God wants us to be blessed and live fulfilled lives, going forward and multiplying the blessings in our lives.

Therefore when we consider Gods initial plan to unite Man and Woman – that they may be blessed to share and grow in the knowledge of each other and also
in obedience and trust in God the Creator.

We can see the consequences of rejecting Gods ways all around us with broken homes, broken lives, violence, terror and fear – all these God said would come upon us if we are turned away from Him.

Surely, as you read
the scriptures yourselves, you too will be drawn into the wonder and might and power and Spirit of the Creator God.

God initiated the marriage of Man and Woman for the purpose to multiply and bring forth a Godly Seed.

We as human beings have been blinded by Satan the Adversary (God has allowed this) by our lack of knowledge and understanding – because once we have our eyes opened we can then see and receive all the healing, teaching and life that God had primarily ordained for His creation.

So seeking first the Kingdom of Heaven is the first order of the day – to start to live our lives God’s way. By coming to him daily and really asking Him to speak with us- to give us our daily bread from Heaven.

When we have found the narrow way to come back to God then all things shall be added unto you.

Life more abundantly comes only when we come to God with contrite hearts filled with remorse and repentance and a genuine desire to change.

For when we/you are transformed and are genuinely loving our enemies – who then become our brothers, sisters, friends – by praying and forgiving – by sharing the burdens of others – then we will start to begin to live the life – God called us to live in Peace and Harmony with all.

Obviously, we know that not all men will want this – as God himself says – there are scoffers and mockers who shun and ridicule Gods teaching considering it to be foolishness – However they will be left outside the kingdom wailing and gnashing their teeth – whether they will be given a chance to repent – only God knows.

But for us who have been blessed to see the Messiah and to know His ways, are truly going to e be blessed with Abundant lives.

God forgave us through His Son. Yet he does call us to Live Holy lives separated from the World ways – giving up our former lives and moving into
the Life God has prepared for you.

We are all works in progress - we have all fallen short of the glory of God - but through obedience and trust we hope to gain the crown as our reward - as Paul wrote.

Is this the sort of fast I want?

(ISAIAH 58)

A when a person mortifies himself?
Is the object to hand your head like a reed and spread sackcloth and ashes under yourself?
Is this what you call a fast, a day that pleases Adonai? (God)

"Here is the sort of fast I want - releasing those unjustly bound, untying the thongs of the yoke,
letting the oppressed go free, breaking every yoke,
sharing your food with the hungry,
taking the homeless poor into your house,
clothing the naked when you see them,
fulfilling your duty to your kinsmen!" (family)

Then your light will burst forth like the morning, your new skin will quickly grow over your wound;
your righteousness will precede you, and Adonai's (God) glory will follow you
Then when you call, and Adonai will answer; you will cry, and he shall say "here I am".
If you remove the yoke from among you, stop false accusation and slander, generously offer food to the hungry and meet the needs of the person in trouble, then your light will rise in the darkness and your gloom become like noon.

Adonai will always guide you, he will satisfy your needs in the desert, he will renew your strength in your limbs, so that you will be like a watered garden, like a spring whose water never fails.  You will rebuild the ancient ruins, raise foundations from ages past and be called "Repairer of broken walls, Restorer of streets to live in".

"If you hold back your foot on Shabbat (Friday night approx 7.30- Saturday night approx 7.30)
from pursuing your own interests on my holy day, if you call Shabbat a delight,  Adonai's holy day, worth honouring; then honour it by not doing your usual things or pursuing your interests or speaking about them.
If you do, you will find delight in Adonai - I will make you ride on the heights of the land and feed you with the heritage of your ancestors Ya'akov (Jacob), for the mouth of Adonai has spoken"

For me to study Gods word and ask for his guidance in understanding how it all fits together, it makes more sense to follow Gods ways that to keep rebelling against his Word.  His ways are the way of peace and justice.

We live today in a world of greed and war, today, people living in diverse places are suffering because of greed of greater nations, also depriving them of their basic rights as human beings.

WE are all in this together, when are we really going to start recognising that we are responsible to each other and to God for each others welfare.

How often we see "charities" asking for money for the less off poorer nations - yet the "rich" nations have made these places even more poorer by inflicting on these nations their greed for the natural resources in the land - the gold, silver, copper, zinc, uranium, many other properties in the land, and their trees, making a desert in some cases of once beautiful forests.  Robbing the nations of their natural resources and then leaving the land ravaged and infertile because of various mining techniques.

Yes, there are many charities out there trying their best to patch up the bodies and build hospitals and schools, trying to repair the damage caused - digging wells for water, which in turn helps provide the people with means of self supporting again.  Yet these very same people whom we look to help also need to relearn skills that once were so naturally part of their culture, before the guns, and before the trucks came into their villages and tore up their farms, and taking away their livelihoods.

The society we live in today is no Money orientated - it does not see the value in communities working together to help support one another.  Many communities that were destroyed by the bulldozers and disease brought in from outside have wiped out many a community.

Instead of going in with so called Charity perhaps we should look at these people more in the way of brothers and sisters and see just what we can do to help support them.  We in the west have a terrible record of exploitation and degradation - if they do not speak our language then they are savages, less than human, yet if we were to look at their intrusion from the side of the afflicted perhaps we would not be so quick to barge in and take.

When I was a young girl I lived in South America, Sao Paulo, in my schooling learning about the history of Brazil and its different tribes, see how so much infiltration and decimation occurred when the first Portuguese soldiers and sailors arrived to "conquer" the land.  How many tribes were wiped out by disease and the gun, only a few  stories were really positive and encouraging, like the story of a Jesuit - married the chiefs daughter - Antonio Anchete - I believe that was his name, he actually became one of the founding fathers of Sao Paulo.  (this is from my memory form when I was a child of 13 a very long time ago, so some of my memory of details  may not be accurate)  However it impressed me that there were people who really did try to make peace with the "natives" and succeeded.

No wonder Jesus speaks to us of loving our enemy, pray for our enemies, for when we are loving and praying for them they are no longer our enemies.  Jesus taught us to live in peace with our neighbours - every one is our neighbour - therefore we should be living in peace with each other.

Some times I wonder what goes on the minds of people who think that they are able to go into countries, areas and take them over and destroy the places and then complain when the people they have destabilised then need to have "charity" to help them recover even the little they did have.  Jesus warns that the poor will always be with us, but He was about to return to the Father.  Surely, if you are a believer in the Living God of the Bible you will see that All Men are equal under God and each deserve the right to live.  However, not all men are followers of the Living God, yet God nonetheless uses them too.

We need to see God in a different light, look at how he hardened the heart of the Pharaoh when Moses was sent by God to release Israel.  WE need to see that God is in control of all situations, however he does need us to be more open to his teachings and his direction.

People in power who deny Gods very existence and live according to their own rules are actually causing nations to fall in to the hands of an angry God.  We who are called to watch over the nations and pray and intercede need to watch and pray and get our own lives right before God and live according to His teachings and rulings ourselves.

How can we expect others to hear our voice if we ourselves are not listening to God.  His word is very clear on that matter.

Isaiah - social statement for today

Today, I finished reading the both the book of Kings and noted just how much was destroyed by the following kings after Solomon, no wonder it has been hard to piece together some details in archaeology when the very items that Solomon had had created designed and made for the House of God in Jerusalem was ransacked and taken off by various foreign invading kings, also the kings that were in power in Israel and Judah also sold off a lot of the property belonging to the house of God to help themselves ransom their lives from invading armies - which has been ordained by God to teach them a lesson to bring them back to their senses.  To recognise that God is the God of Israel and all Mankind. We see from their history in the scriptures that while the kings were doing evil from Gods perspective everything went wrong for the people of the land, they suffered tumours, skin diseases, mental health issues, - this sounds very much like todays society.

When I commenced reading Isaiah - I was deeply moved by Isaiah's first vision and how God spoke to the people through Isaiah.

This is the vision of Isaiah the son of Amotz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem during the days of 'Uzihahu, Yotam,, Achaz and Y'chizkiyahu - kings of Judah.

"Hear, Heaven! Listen, earth!

"I raised and brought up children but they rebelled against me.
An ox knows its owner and a donkey its mater's stall, but Israel does not know my people do not reflect.

"Oh, sinful nation, a people weighed down by iniquity, descendants  of evil doers, immoral children!
They have abandoned Adonai (God), spurned the Holy One of Israel, turned their backs on him!

"Where should I strike you next, as you persist in rebelling?
The whole head is sick, the whole heart diseased.
From the sole of the foot to the head there is nothing healthy, only wounds, bruises and festering sores that haven't been dressed or bandaged or softened up with oil.

"Your land is desolate, your cities are burned to the ground; foreigners devour your land in your presence, it's a desolate as if overwhelmed by floods.
The daughter of Tziyon is left like a shack in a vineyard, like a shed in a cucumber field, like a city under siege.

If Adonai-Tzva'ot had not left us a  tiny tiny remnant, we would have become like Sodom. we would have resembled Gomorrah.
Hear what Adonai (God) says, you rulers of Sodom.
Listen to God's Torah you people of Gomorrah

"Why are all those sacrifices offered to me?" asks Adonai (God)
"I'm fed up with burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fattened animals!
I get no pleasure from the blood of bulls, lambs and goats!
Yes, you come to appear in my presence but who asked you to do this, to trample through my courtyards?
Stop bringing worthless grain offering!"
They are like disgusting incense to me!
Rosh-Hodesh, Shabbat, calling convocations - I can't stand the evil together with your assemblies!
Everything in me hates your Rosh-hodesh and your festivals, they are a burden to me -
I am tired of putting up with them!

"When you spread out your hands, I will hide my eyes from you, no matter how much you pray
I won't be listening because your hands are covered with blood.

"Wash yourselves clean!
Get your evil deeds out of my sight!
Stop doing evil, learn to do good.
Seek justice, relieve the oppressed, defend orphans, plead for the widow.

"Come now" says Adonai (God)
"let's talk this over together.
Even if your sins are like scarlet, they will be white as snow;
even if they are red as crimson they will be like wool.
If you will eat the good of the land but if you refuse and rebel
you will be eaten by the sword".
for the mouth of Adonai has spoken

When we look at our lives and wonder why they are not being blessed why, every time we seem to turn around things do not seem to be going the "right way" for us.  If we insist of resisting Gods ways and His teaching and fail to keep his commandments and learn to love one another and learn to live in harmony and forgiveness, we know that unless we start with ourselves how else can it be changed.

For me, each day I sit and read the scriptures and look and ask God to teach me what HE wants to me to understand how to help my fellow human beings - we are all the same - unless of course you consider yourself not from planet earth, have some other ideas, God created us all equal under the sun, no race is greater or lesser than the other, we all have the same God who gave us the same skills and talents it is how we choose to use them that matters.

We see the battles going on in diverse places just as the Scriptures says, Yeshua reassured us that the poor would always be with us, famines, pestilence, diseases, floods, droughts, chronic illnesses, tumours, people hearts failing them because of fear, these are just some of the items that God warned Israel about in Deuteronomy when they were given the choice to follow God and his ways and follow their own which would lead to destruction and separation from God and each other.

We can see the results very clearly today.

For me, reading the scriptures gives me a great deal of peace and joy and I know that my redeemer lives and that Yeshua will return and His Kingdom shall be established and we shall all bow down and confess that He is indeed King and Lord over all.

It is such a shame that mankind just does not seem to be aware of the real issues at hand, we could have a great planet to live on in peace and harmony if we all stopped trying to kill one another.

Jesus/Yeshua taught us to love our enemy, pray for them, not keep attacking people.
When are really going to take what Jesus said seriously and look at the way we treat our fellow man.

Each day when I go up on the top of the hills where I live in Estepona and marvel and amazing place we live in the incredible beauty that surrounds us, and even the birds and bees buzzing around all live in harmony with each other.  I really get a genuine sense of peace and praise God for the blessings he has bestowed upon my life.

I thank God that out of tragedy also comes joy and peace.
So that God for the blessings you have in your life, remember your neighbour, love your neighbour as yourself, then perhaps we can start to see some real changes in the way people treat one another, and in time hopefully, as the time draws closer to the coming of the King we will be ready to become true citizens of His Kingdom.

Thank you for spending time with me today.
Have a great weekend.

I use the Complete Jewish Bible for my studies, I find it really lovely and gives a great sense of oneness with God.

Today I walked with a friend of mine who was very distressed.  Although my friend says that she believes in God - in actual fact when it came down to my friend trusting God to really take care of her she felt that it was not really going to happen for her.

For me, on the other hand, whenever I have asked God to help me in any situation I have trusted God to be able to help in whatever my needs may have been at that time.

Yeshua/Jesus made it very plain in the Word of God that if you ask God for something and you do not really believe that he is going to do any thing he will not, as you need to know that when you are asking God for help you, your mind must be made up that God can and will fulfil his promises to you.

You can ask nothing of God if you are double minded.  Trusting God means that you really do understand that God will take care of you and will provide for all your needs.

I for one have experienced this at first hand.  In 2003 God directed me to come to Spain by the Holy Spirit and knowing that I would obey he made the way for me.  I gave up a job in UK and followed the leading of the Holy Spirit.  It lead me to Marbella - where I was able to have a flat right in the centre of Marbella near to the Ricardo Soreano - this area is considered to be a great area to live as it is right in the middle of the commercial and recreational area of Marbella.  Here I stayed for six months - not having any form of income nor any steady job - God taught me the meaning of trusting God to provide for me.  It was a very interesting time, I read the Word of God and was working my way through the book of Job - a great man in his own right.  He listened to God and obeyed him, although he was then tested, he still maintained his respect and love of God and trusted that God would take care of him.  Even though his life was torn to shreds, at the end of the day God restored him and gave him more than he previously had - because he was accounted faithful and trusted God. Even when those around him were trying to make out he had done something vile and that God was punishing him in some way, what had actually happened was that Satan had gone to God and asked to test Job because he could not get his way with Job.  God allowed Satan to test him but he was not allowed to kill him.  Satan took everything from him, his family, wife, business and whatever else belong to Job to see if Job would turn his back on God.  Instead Job stuck it out and kept his faith in God and trusting him, believing his promises that at the end of the day his life was in Gods hands and God could do whatever God would choose to do with him.

We in the society we live in today, discount God and wonder why when we feebly ask him for help he does not seemingly answer.

We reject Gods promises as if they were nothing, yet when we look at Israels history we can see quite clearly that when Israel trusted God - He led them in battle, they were victorious, when they were dispersed amongst the nations because of their unbelief and rejection of Gods word there was always someone who would rediscover the Word and the Torah (the commandments of God) and see by reading them that they would be blessed by keeping them.

We in the west are so convinced by our so called "wisdom and knowledge" that God is no longer a viable being that we have actually signed our own death warrant in Gods eyes.

When Yeshua/Jesus came to earth to be a reconciler back to God, He challenged the people around him because of their lack of real trust and belief in the Living God.  He challenged their priests, and teachers, because although they were teaching a form of Godliness they were denying his power.

The God of Creation who opened the Red Sea for Israel to escape the Eqyptions, the God who made water spring forth from the rock in order for the people to have water in the desert, the God who made sure that they were never with out food, the people cried and moaned about their lack - yet there was God ready to provide, he brought birds to feed them in the evening and bread of heaven in the morning to feed them during the day.  In all the forty years in the desert even though God was providing for them they moaned and groaned and were in disbelief - those people who were in that state did  not get into the promised land.  Only those like Caleb and Joshua who really did trust and believe that God would and could provide were allowed to pass over and really enjoy the fruits of what God had provided for them which had they in the earlier part of their sojourn in the desert had trusted God the whole of those that were led out of Egypt could also have been led into the promised land.  We see from the history that when God says he is going to do something he really does do it.

He today would like to provide for your needs, if you would open your hearts and minds to trust the God of the Universe, He is able to provide you with everything you need, the only criteria is that you turn back to him and ask him trusting and believing that God is able to provide for you.

God provides for me on a daily basis all that I need.  I ask him for wisdom to write these blogs to help and encourage others to trust and believe in the Living God of Israel.  I am not preaching a new religion or trying to convert you what I am trying to do with this is make you aware that we are living in a time of gross darkness because science has been trying to teach us that there is no God.

Yet, science has not proved there is not a God, they are struggling with the idea of finally recognising that there must be something who has put all this together.

There are those who would argue that there is no God.  Yet look around you, can you explain why the sky and sea are blue, can you explain why there is such diversity of animals, fish, vegetation, flowers, trees, I have just been reading the book 6th Extinction where the scientist are puzzling over the diversity of the planet and what can be used to benefit mankind. Excuse me but God made all these incredible diversity for our benefit.  There is even one scientist who was arguing that we did not need the tropical forests - that is did not matter if we chop down all the trees on the equator we would get by.  Well, funnily enough if you take your lungs out of your body - you die.  That is what would happen to the planet if you take away the lungs of the planet.  God gave us the trees in just the right place in order to give oxygen to both north and south, east and west of the planet - check out the maps in your atlas and see where they are strategically planted.

God gave us everything, fish, meat, vegetables, flowers, water, salt, even the medicines in the trees He has provided, yet mankind insists that they can make it better, yet looking at what the pharmaceutical industry does with the raw materials in plants and turns them into so called wonder drugs, - They have not made anything - God gave them the raw material.  They have contaminated it with their so called engineering of the drug - they do not even know long term what they will do.

My mother died of kidney cancer - after prolong use of pharmaceutical drugs, which were made up of so much junk like chalk, and other so called ingredients, our bodies were not designed to filter so much rubbish.  When you look at how God heals you will see that it is from within the spirit as well as the body - mankind has drifted into such a state of unbelief and lack of trust just as the book of Deuteronomy points out when God gave them the choice of blessing or curses.  The curses if being cut off from God and his healing power, his restoring power, his divine power, his creativity. He says quite clearly that when mankind chooses to turn their back on him there are serious consequences, there would be tumours, diseases, madness - vast increase in mental illness has occurred over the past few hundred years since the beginning of denial of God.  That we would suffer in our crops, that there would be increase in famines, droughts, floods. Does not that give you some food for thought.

The blessings is that we would all be in good health, living in peace with our neighbours - our fellow human beings.  We would be taken care of because God would make everything be as it would have been had we been obedient,   God does not want mankind to annihilate itself - he wants us to be restored to himself so that God could give us what he wants to provide for us. Right at the beginning where he was able to take care of us, making sure we had rain in due season, crops that would sustains us.  Food to feed the hungry, homes that would be safe to live in.  Does that sound good to you.  Well that is what the Father is able to do for you when you RETURN BACK OT THE FATHER - like the prodigal son.  He was well blessed when he finally came to his senses.

Through out the Deuteronomy -- you can see that God is encouraging people to obey his teachings and his laws in order to have long lives and live in peace with their neighbours as well as themselves.  When you look at Deuteronomy and really ask God to show you just what he is meaning you will discover for yourself the joy of your salvation for Yeshua himself was always encouraging people to return to the father and obey his commandments.

People today in the "churches" have been taught to discard the Torah - yet all the way through the New Testament we find the Disciples expounding them and encouraging people to keep to the faith of the scriptures, we are not talking about man-made traditions we are talking about the Truth of What did God say, What did God teach.

To really learn and discover more about this I would highly recommend you start to read your Bibles yourself and check out what it really says.  People today, many have Bibles collecting dust do not realise just how powerful the words in that book are, they have the way to learn to eat well, they have ways to help lift depression and share joy with your neighbour, they have all songs of praise and worship and believe me when I tell you that there is such a guide to how to live your life in peace and tranquillity you would be mad not to even have a look at it.

For me when I started to really read the scriptures I really started to discover a God that is so powerful and mighty, forgiving, merciful, generous, and kind.  I also found out just how terrible it is when you turn your back on God, what the consequences are when we neglect his holy word.

When I was in my darkest hour he reached me, I reached out to him in my ignorance and disbelief and there he was just waiting to hear from me, he healed me and turned my heart towards him and his word.  I praise God for each day I am alive, I praise God for every breath I take.  I thank God that without His word we would not even be here.

He gave us an incredible planet to live on.  He created everything in his time and his way, for our enjoyment and our pleasure and our needs, yet we forfeit the right to have life more abundantly because we fail to Trust and Obey the God of Creation.

It is time to really wake up and rediscover the truth of Gods holy word.

Here are a just a few books which may help you to start to find your way back to understanding the Word and rediscover the lost treasures of God for your own life.

Life or Death that is the question

Over the many years since I became a believer and was touched by the hand of God and was healed by his miraculous power.  Learning to understand the basic fundamentals of how to live has been a really interesting study of mine.

Firstly, let me tell you a bit about myself - when I was in my early twenties I suffered what was called chronic nervous indigestion - which may not sound too bad on the surface, however, when you are all pent up inside and feeling nervous and scared all the time, that even to answer the door becomes and issue, being afraid to go out and even to speak to people that is a problem.

However, when I was suffering to such a degree then God in his mercy reached down from heaven an d made me whole again.  He showed me how I had got into the state that I had done so because of fear not just of circumstance but of life itself  I really did not know how to live, I really did not understand about relationships nor love nor friendship.  I found it really difficult to come to terms with being alone, with a baby.  I found it really difficult to understand how I had allowed myself to get into such a place.  I was not stupid, nor unlearned - however I was like lots of other people who felt lost and alone and very much needing to find some way to comfort themselves with some thing or someone.  When you are from a broken home where there has been years of constant difficult relationships it makes it really difficult to reach out and trust anyone.  For me it because so difficult that it caused me to get really ill.

Anyway, although I had my lovely daughter whom I adored and still do love even though she is now fully grown up and has a new life of her own I became very much aware that things were not right for us.

For me, the crux came one night when I felt a heavy weight on my chest and it felt like it was going to crush the life out of me - I cried out to God and admitted I did not believe in him even though - I had just read Matthew Mark Luke and John in the bible (it was the only book in the house at the time) I did not believe the stories with my mind but something had happened because when I called out to God He HEARD me and I felt the huge weight lift off me.  Then He slowly showed me what had caused me to be in such a place Fear, Stress, Anxiety - all these things God had said in His Word that we should give to him, and to carry his burden which is light with is just to TRUST that God is there and He is well able to carry all our burdens.  He knows our frame and he understands every part of our lives.  He has our best interest at heart and no matter how much we think we know the best way HIS WAY is better.

For me the discovery that God really did exist and really cared for me started me on a journey of discovery - I got really excited with the Word of God and really started to ASK GOD to teach me HIS ways and discover what HE said to mankind through His prophets and through the Death and Resurrection of the Messiah Yeshua (Jesus Christ).

I reread the books Matthew Mark Luke and John over the years and each time I am thrilled to see the miracle working hand of God in the pages, understanding that this same God had touched my life.  I wanted to learn more.  I discovered that as I read the words of the Bible I was wanting to understand the differences which I read about in the Word - I also did read the Archaeology of the Bible which held some really interesting revealing material.  For me it is not just a matter of believing everything your read it is a matter of Come Let Us Reason together in order to get to Truth of a matter.

I have always been fascinated with History and Geography and how the planet came to be - I was interested to discover how come the planet as we know it is how it is.

I have read many interesting article on the internet over these issues and each time I come to the conclusion that God is Awesome and that as he had created the universe and everything in it for a purpose he also created me for a purpose.

Well, for me the discovery of my purpose took a while to discover, I am not going to say it was easy to follow the footsteps of Yeshua because the doctrines I had learned as a child and the reasoning's of those around me did not really show me anything except how separate we are from God.

As I started to read the scriptures and read what Yeshua (Jesus) had taught the disciples I started to question the real meaning of his words.  I started to look for answers in the Word of God regarding the teachings - I soon discovered that the teachings in the churches and the teachings in the bible were nothing to do with each other - the churches claimed to be following Yeshua (Jesus) but when I questioned why we did not keep a Sabbath day as Yeshua did or keep the Ten Commandments as Yeshua did - I was quickly informed that they no longer mattered.  Well for me that was a matter of great concern because I could see from the scriptures and from the history of Israel that when they did not keep to Gods Teaching and His Commandments Israel was marched off to slavery, and death and destruction and dispersion.  However when one of the prophets and kings rediscovered the Commandments of God and that they were to follow them Israel prospered.  For me this was a breakthrough.  I had found the key to really what I was meant to be doing - that is to live Gods way.

Discovering the path of enlightenment back to the father has been an incredible journey.
If you are willing to walk with me then I will show you what I have learned over the years.

To keep Gods Commandments and His Teachings brings life to the flesh and prosperity to your home and lifestyle.  In Deut. He made it very clear that if we are willing to obey his teaching he is willing to bless us mightly - if not we are under the curse and death and madness will ensue.

For me I choose life, to live with God and obey his teachings and learn from him.

Not just lipservice but really started to study His Word.
Over the next few weeks I will start to write about what I have learned.  I will share with you the joy of my salvation of knowing the Messiah the King of the Universe.  Are you with me.

Here are some study materials which you may find useful.  I use the Complete Jewish Bible myself and have found it really helpful and inspiring.
