Shabbat Inspiration

This week’s Torah portion (Deut. 29:9-31:30) always falls out right before Rosh Hashana and describes the physical return of the Jewish people to the Land of Israel. What is the connection between the Land and the High Holy Days? Rosh Hashana is all about restoring our relationship with God and recognizing His Kingdom over the whole world which can only fully be achieved with the return of the People of Israel to the Land of Israel. Learn more about the significance of Rosh Hashanah in our new eBook, “Hear the Call.”

Small but Outstanding

Israel, a small country of outstanding beauty, is filled with so many beautiful landscapes showcased in this video.

Rosh Hashana Chicken

Since people are always looking for new chicken recipes and quince is a new fruit, we decided to put them together! The result was really fantastic: a sweet and flavorful chicken with caramelized quince that makes you wonder..." Hmmm... I don’t know exactly what it is, but I like it!"

Today's Israel Photo

Today's beautiful photo of the Land of Israel was taken by Bar Artzi Photography from the top of Mount Tabor. This mountain, which sits at the eastern end of the Jezreel valley, is mentioned in Scripture as symbol of majesty (see Jeremiah 46:18: "like Tabor among the mountains").

Thank You
